Hey, I'm having some trouble installin my new PCI card RTL-8139D.

I've tried downloading the drivers from over 20 diferent sites and none of them is working. The card is new, but not even in Windows 2000 it works. So i thought it micht be the card damaged or something. But if it were damaged windows wouldn't detect it (someone said, I'm not sure) I'm using Mandrake and on the driver disk came some redhat drivers.

I've tried them all and none worked. Kudzu is not installed on my computer and in mandrake.com it says that this card is suported by mandrake. But it doesn't look like. I've tried to put it in other BUS's, because perhaps it was damaged. But didn't work either. PLEASE help me!!! Note: I'm newbie so i'm not TOO handy in Linux use, but I can learn, and i KNOW tldp.org Tnakz.

I'm downloading 20 different drivers becuase none of them worked and i like wasting time on that kind of things instead of chatting or reading wonderfull documents on networking. I can't insmod it because it return an error: 8139too.o: unresolved symbol mii_link_ok_R1c4c2d2e 8139too.o: unresolved symbol mii_nway_restart_R5495f23a 8139too.o: unresolved symbol mii_ethtool_sset_Rb929906a 8139too.o: unresolved symbol mii_ethtool_gset_R41f3f5d9 i don't even know what symbol or unresolved symbol are. I've tried modifying /etc/modules.conf as you said and didn't work. Linuxconf can't detect my card either, so I thoght it could be an IRQ problem and tried everything on my BIOS, but still, doesn't work.
