I'm having what looks to be a very similar issue to where a specific user is experiencing really slow performance when navigating the directory structure of a networked drive that is part of our file server when they go to attach files. I can't duplicate this on my own machine and no one has complained about it either. If this user browses the networked drive in Windows Explorer, it's fast like a local disk.
As per the link above disabling the WebClient service is supposed to fix this, but it's not even running so can't disable. Anyone else experienced this or have suggestions?
Jun 15, 2012 When I try and attach a file to an email via paperclip function it takes ages to open folders and this continues on each sub folder underneath such that attaching a file to an email can take up to 5 minutes (ridiculous) I did not have this issue with Outlook 2007 and have recently upgraded to 2010 version.
